It has been confirmed that the current creative director on the series, Alexandre Amancio has left Montreal.

Amancio has been lured away from the games and will take up the role of chief creative officer at the Cossette agency.

He spent almost seven years at Ubisoft Montreal altogether working as art director on 2 and then creative director on Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

"Video games and advertising have many common elements," Amancio said on Cossette's website. "In both industries, we are always looking for new ways to engage the consumer to the brand. Like advertising, the video game industry must now take into account and supply a very important social dimension in its and strategies. The game is no longer just a game, it's a community [with] relations between players and the brand."

Thanks Gamasutra.
