Infinity Ward has banned over 1600 MW3 cheats already

Cheaters will not be tolerated

Infinity Ward has joined EA in taking a very tough line on anyone caught cheating in their latest release Modern Warfare 3.

According to Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling over 1600 cheats have already been banned from playing Modern Warfare 3 online with even those found to be exploiting glitches receiving a ban.

Bowling also confirmed that the length of the bans were related to the "douchiness of the offense".

Bowling explained: "Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in #MW3 will not be tolerated. 1600+ bans issued."
