Developers at Telltale games have been discovered to be padding out the scores of one of their new titles on Metacritic.

Two members of the staff were found to have been posting perfect user review scores on Metacritic for their latest release Jurassic Park.

One said: "Jurassic Park is a true Telltale 'point-and-click'. The company that championed the adventure game genre delivers yet another solid game based on a beloved 'nostalgic' franchise. This is not your regular tie-in game, where you play out the same old events you've seen on the big screen."

The other described Jurassic Park as "a mix between & LA Noire" with the same comment appearing again in a post two days later under a different name.

These posts began appearing two days after the game's release when only one critic's review had appeared on the site. Jurassic Park's current Metacritic score is 56 for the and and 60 for the version.

A Telltale Games spokesperson explained that it "does not censor or muzzle its employees in what they post on the internet. However, it is being communicated internally that anyone who posts in an forum will acknowledge that they are a Telltale employee."
