UMD Passport programme revealed for the PS Vita in Japan
PSP gamers get a discount to on downloadable versions of their UMDs
Sony has revealed a special programme to allow PSP owners to transfer their UMD collections over to the PS Vita for a cut price.
From the 6th of December, PSP owners will be able to register their UMD collections in the PlayStation Store through their PSP in order to get access to downloadable versions of their games at cut prices.
The reduced prices range from 400 YEN all the way up to 2400 YEN which is a range of between 3.30 GBP and 19.70 GBP.
Sony have yet to confirm whether they will be instituting a similar scheme for the PS Vita when it reaches Western shores on February the 22nd next year.
