Microsoft to unveil full 3D support for the 360 at E3?
Time for the 360 to join the PS3 in 3 dimensions
Microsoft has hinted that they may be preparing to reveal support for full stereoscopic 3D visual support for the Xbox 360 at this year's E3.
According to Eurogamer, a source close to 360 development indicated that an announcement regarding full 3D support for the 360 is very likely at this year's E3.
Their source said: "They'd be mad not to do it, is all I can say. The machine is not only very capable, it's more capable than the PlayStation 3 of doing stereo, assuming you don't have one of the old crappy ones with the composite leads... assuming you have a HDMI Xbox. The bottleneck is more on the graphical throughput for rendering out in stereo."
The source added: "E3 is coming up. Microsoft is going to have to go on stage to say something, aren't they?"
