Codemasters' officially licensed has arrived for the iPhone, 2009 launching on the App Store for 3.99 GBP (in the UK).

Early downloaders appear fairly impressed with the new driving title, which includes 17 official circuits, and visuals that aren't bad, considering the constraints of the format.

Sadly, there's no full Season game mode, the play limited to time trials, encompassing best lap times or endurance races.

A version of F1 2009 is already with us, not to mention a outing, while a full next-gen version is due in 2010.
