Mirror's Edge is on the way to the and the iPod Touch, confirming that the game will land in January of next year.

The game promises to include some fairly impressive true visuals with a genuine sense of immersion delivered by a unique art style, sound effects and music.

Playing as Faith once again, the player will be taking on the authorities in a ruthless, Tokyo-like metropolis of the future, the focus once again on free-running style movement through the city - rather than pure combat.

Fourteen levels will be included, and we'll have more on this in the new year.
