Edge back on App Store, Langdell backs down?
Mobigames win out?
Former game maker Tim Langdell, owner of Edge Games, has seemingly backed down in a copyright dispute with Mobigames over App Store hit 'Edge'.
The iPhone title was originally pulled after Langdell objected to the title - and threatened the game's indie developer with serious repercussions.
EA, meanwhile, have launched their own challenge against Langdell's apparent stance on all things 'Edge', after they too were threatened over action game Mirror's Edge.
Subsequently, the legitimacy of Langdell's claim to the name - and his insistence that he remains a legitimate game maker - has come under intense media scrutiny, and it seems in this case he has backed down, given the re-emergence of the game on the App Store.
